IMPACT
While the project is still ongoing, a sharp fall has been witnessed in the bounce rate.
CHALLENGE
People were not using the website to purchase products. The bounce rate was very high.
The website was not optimized well for mobile use. 94% of users were accessing the website via mobile. There was no clear CTA in the first 20% of the website page. At the same time, there was a focus on different products with no action highlighted.

SOLUTION
Restructuring the website to highlight popular products and guiding the users.
By adding clear CTAs, and prioritizing products based on popularity, we could provide the users with a more efficient experience. The website also lacked a premium feeling that the brand identified with. Adesign overhaul was also needed.
THE PROCESS
Client 1-on-1
I started by auditing the website and highlighting visible issues to the client.
We also discussed expectations, vision for the website, analyzed competitor websites and
discussed user pain points
Meta-data was product-specific
Cluttered design
Lack of prioritizing
No clear CTA on the page
Desktop header vague
COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
I made a list of competitors and start analyzing their websites.
Some points I noted:
All banners had a clear CTA
The beginning section was always popular products
This was followed by a featured product
The founder wanted a clean experience for the user and didn't want to spam the user.
I also suggested creating a quiz to solve the problem of people finding their shades.
Some key features to include:
Add Clear CTAs
Add Product Stock Remaining
Add Badges 'Selling Fast'
Shade Finder
A+ Content for SEO
Testimonials
UGC
