OVERVIEW

A brand that combines skincare and beauty. The idea for the brand comes from my own struggle with acne and finding suitable products for my skin. I decided to create a concept for a brand that focuses on these problems.

CHALLENGE

Creating a visual identity that communicated the essence of the products.

The main objective was to understand the brand positioning and construct an identity that visually conveys the genuine essence of the brand.


SOLUTION

Defining the brand's position, purpose and then designing the visual aesthetic.

By gaining insight into the brand's positioning and purpose, I could then move forward with finalizing components such as the brand name, logo, and visual identity

THE PROCESS

Finding the aesthetic

I compiled a list of brand attributes that aligned with what the brand was trying to convey. By creating a word map, I was able to figure out a direction for the brand's visuals.

The calming nature of the products is mirrored in the various shades of blue, while the sea green is reminiscent of sea water which has healing properties due to the nutrients present in it.
